Description:
Laikraksts sāka iznākt 1947. gada 1. decembrī ar nosaukumu "Sociaļističeskij Putj" krievu valodā. 1957. gada 6. februārī - arī latviešu valodā. Pēc apvienošanās ar Dagdas rajonu, tātad arī ar Dagdas avīzi pārņēma tās nosaukumu "Zarja Kommuņizma". Dažus gadus vēlāk latviešu avīzi sāka saukt par "Komunisma Ausmu". Atmodas laikā tā ieguva jaunu nosaukumu "Ezerzeme" (kā latviešu, tā krievu valodā), taču atrašanās vietu visos savos pastāvēšanas gados nav mainījusi.

Šobrīd laikraksta tirāža ir aptuveni 5000. Pastāvīgo abonentu skaits: apmēram 4200. Mazumtirdzniecībā tiek realizēts apmēram 800 eksemplāru.
